Cancellation Policy Please note that 48 hours notice of cancellations is needed, where a cancellation is received later than this, or a lesson does not go ahead for whatever reason (including but not limited to:- unavailability of suitable hat, yard / school booking issues) I’m afraid the full session fee will be payable. This applies to ALL work, in the event of cancellation with less than 48 hours clear notice, the full fee for the work will be charged and payable. Late Payment Where an invoice is not paid in full within 7 days of issue, an automatic late payment charge of £40 will apply. Severely overdue invoices will also attract interest at 8% above the Bank Of England base rate for the entire period they remain overdue. Each chase email / call will be charged at £25. “Covid19” policy Work will continue as normal. My risk assessment is that the risk in coaching is negligible both in “absolute” form & “relative” form. To place some context on matters, the mortality rate from equestrian activity is accepted at around 7%, the mortality rate from “Covid19” is a fraction of 1% according to research. Please note that for a number of reasons, including safety, it is not appropriate the coach or rider to wear any form of mask during the session, clarity & immediacy of two-way communication in split seconds in our sessions is important & could well prevent a much more serious injury. If you consider yourself “vulnerable” or are in any way worried about your immune system’s ability to fight off any form of illness, please consider whether you wish to go ahead with your session (any cancellation will be in line with our cancellation policy) or any other activity that takes you outside of a "clean room" environment. Aside from the above & as with the wearing of body protectors, gloves etc, matters will be left to the discretion of the rider/client. You should be able to tack up your own horse & follow instructions on how to adjust tack whilst riding as needed. TFG is a freelancer & does NOT receive any funding from the British government, or any other body, and never has. Therefore the practicalities of living & needing to eat/pay for a roof over ones head, means work must continue & I thank you for your continued support. It is not practical to teach in this case in any other way than to go to hold the session at the client’s yard, furthermore it is in the interests of the welfare of the horse that its education & work continues, and indeed the mental health of all participants takes precedence – TFG conducts a large number of sessions for those with mental health issues, where riding is also a therapeutic activity & also ‘rider confidence’ training which is also key to maintaining our clients mental health balance.
